Whilst this blog is predominantly a place to whinge, whine, complain and generally be a Grumpy Man, it would be remiss of me not to add my few words to celebrate the life of Captain Sir Tom Moore.
A humble man who served his country at many points in his life. None more so than the galvanising effect his fundraising had on the whole country.
He set out with a small personal mission to walk 100 times before he turned 100 years old and raise just a few quid for the NHS - an institution close to his heart - along the way. £32,000,000 later and globally recognised he is the very epitome of what one man (person) can achieve.
Sending much respect to Captain Sir Tom and love and condolences to his family and friends.
Rest well fella xx
